Lindsey and I went on an adventure to the Goodwill today. I lucked out and found a 16 piece, stoneware dinnerware set! Not only is it fabulous, but it doesn't look like it has ever been used. One mug is chipped, but that can be overlooked. The best part? I got it for $7! In addition to my new dinnerware set, I am now the proud owner of two fancy martini glasses, also compliments of the Goodwill.

On the way back from our thrifting adventure we got caught in a spectacular storm. There was plenty of flooding and fallen branches (including one in my front yard). To make it even better, my road was blocked off due to a fallen tree! What a fabulous day!

a traveling must-have

I am currently babysitting for a child who will soon be on his way to sunny California. His upcoming adventure got me thinking about traveling and a fantastic passport holder I recently found on buyolympia.
